Kent Walker Baumgartner

Kent Walker Baumgartner, 64, passed away on February 6, 2022, at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. Kent was born in Fulton, Missouri on December 20, 1957, the son of the late Bob Baumgartner and the late Mary Elizabeth "Libby" (Walker) Baumgartner. On October 2, 2015, Kent was united in marriage to Anthony "Tony" Weaver. Kent owned and worked at Accent Flooring in Columbia, Missouri. He bought a store and he and his business partners grew it from nothing to a huge success. He had a passion for his work. Kent was known for his generosity and taking care of people. He loved his family and animals. In his spare time, he liked tinkering with computers. Those remaining to mourn his passing include his husband, Anthony "Tony" Weaver; brother, Gary (Jan); best friend of 40 years, Todd Harrison (Angela); nephew, Evan Baumgartner; nieces, Aimee Moore, Erin Lohbeck (Jason); great-nieces and friend, Curt Petty. A celebration of life was held Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton.
