Ival Charles "Chuck" McKee, 85, of Fulton, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021. He was born in Upton, Missouri on May 30, 1935, to the late John Ival McKee and the late Gladys Irene (Pearcy) McKee. On May 24, 1955, Chuck was united in marriage to Geraldine Faye (Brown) McKee, who preceded him in death on October 30, 2015. Chuck worked as a lineman foreman for Callaway Electric Cooperative for 28 years, retiring in 1997. He loved life on the farm, working cattle and putting up hay. He also enjoyed draft horses and going to horse pulls. In his retirement years, he could often be found having coffee with his neighbors. Chuck will be fondly remembered by son-in-law, David Eaker; daughter-in-law, Connie McKee; grandchildren, Johnny Eaker (Krista), Dennis Eaker (Jennifer), and Andrew Eaker, Bobby McKee (Rhiannon), Annie Arnone (Josh), Mark McKee, Jennifer Brunholtz (Matt), and Morganne McKee; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, James Edwards McKee; daughter, Julie Faye Eaker; and brothers, Ralph "Boots" McKee and Ernest McKee. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at Maupin Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Crowson officiating. Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 22, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
