Mary Louise Belisle, 66, of Fulton, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021, at University of Missouri Hospital. She was born in Alton, Illinois on May 23, 1954, to the late James Rudolph Atterberry and the late Anna Marie (Buchholz) Atterberry. On May 31, 1973, Mary was united in marriage to Scott Belisle. He survives her passing. Mary enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, and searching for bargains at garage sales. She was an excellent cook and liked to share her talent at family gatherings. Mary was happiest when surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary will be fondly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Scott; sons, W. Scotty Belisle of St. Charles and John David Belisle (April Smith) of Jefferson City; daughter, Nancy Belisle of Fulton; daughter-in-law, Laura Lomas-Belisle; brothers, James Atterberry (Nita) of Auxvasse, John Atterberry (Peggy) of Fulton, and Bill Atterberry (Wanda) of Fulton; sisters, Karen Lathrop of Williamsburg and Debi Valdez (Tim) of Green Sea, South Carolina; sisters-in-law, Jill Atterberry and Pauline Duncan; grandchildren, Shay Atterberry, Ethan Lomas, Betty Lou Belisle, Austin Lomas, Bradley Lomas, Jayden Belisle, John David Belisle Jr. and Jennifer Belisle; great-grandchild, Emerson Lomas; and many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lynn Atterberry, Leon Atterberry, and David Atterberry; sister, Lillian Scoggins; and numerous other family members. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 12, 2021, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Randy Stephens officiating. A carry-in dinner will follow.
