Minnie Ann Smith, 87, of Williamsburg, passed away at University of Missouri Hospital on Monday, March 1, 2021. She was born in Osage County, Missouri on January 26, 1934, to the late Harry O. Steinmetz and the late Susie (Branch) Steinmetz. On October 14, 1955, Minnie was united in marriage to Floyd Elgin Smith who survives her passing. Minnie was a caregiver at heart and spent her days cooking and caring for her yard and her children and grandchildren. She always carried pictures of all her kids in her purse. Minnie also enjoyed walking, reading, and working crossword puzzles. Minnie will be fondly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Floyd; sons, Guy Smith of Williamsburg, and Dan Smith of Williamsburg; daughter, Elaine Kime of Fulton; daughter-in-law, Donna Smith; brothers, Rodger Steinmetz (Bonnie) of Jefferson City, and Stanley Steinmetz of Holts Summit; grandchildren, Michael Kime (Lindsey), Gregory Smith, Kevin Smith, Chad Smith (Felicia), Emily Smith, Nathaniel Wright (Victoria), and Brandon Smith (Ariel); great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Mary Jane, and Haley Seaburg, Fox, Maverick, and Phoenix Kime, Catrina, Dominick, and Naomi Smith, Annabelle, Nathaniel II "Little Man", Little Ty Ty, and Madison; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Elgin Smith; son-in-law, Dr. Marlin Kime; brothers, Robert, Wayne, and Larry Steinmetz; and sisters, Wanda Craighead, Ruth Gordan, and Emily Banner. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, 2021, at 54 Country in Fulton.
