She was born on October 21, 1969, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Ruth (Fletcher) Bechel and late Robert Bechel. Sherri was a 1988 graduate of Jefferson City High School and Linn State Technical College in 1990. Anyone fortunate enough to know her, will remember her as the loudest laugh and the most infectious smile in any room. Sherri loved those around her to the fullest. Her friendly and generous nature made every person feel like family. She also lived life to the fullest. On any given day, you might find her cruising in her DooBug and soaking up the sun or binge-watching Law & Order: SVU. Sherri loved spending time and making memories with her Aloha Tans family. As a past president of the Garth Brooks fan club, Sherri enjoyed traveling to county fairs watching him perform. Later, she shared those adventures with her daughter, Ashley, making sure to get all the best selfies along the way. If you look closely, you can still see those treasured signatures on her cowboy boots.
