Roberta Elizabeth Moore

Roberta Elizabeth Moore, 76, of Kingdom City, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Boone Hospital. She was born in Fulton, Missouri on October 9, 1944, to the late James B. Nichols and the late Mary Ellen (Yake) Nichols. Roberta was married to Harvey Moore, who survives her passing. Prior to retirement, Roberta was committed to teaching 5th grade students at Williamsburg Elementary School for more than 20 years. She loved to play and watch sports, especially basketball and swimming. In her spare time, she enjoyed driving around town, shopping, arts and crafts, reading, and watching TV. Roberta will be fondly remembered by her husband, Harvey; daughters, Michelle Robbins (Lyla) of Fulton and Melissa Fischer (Randall) of Fulton; sister-in-law, June Nichols of Kansas City; and grandchildren, Ryan Oberlag and Brooke Fischer. In addition to her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel J. Nichols. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Mike Halderman officiating. Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2021, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
