Oveta Vieth, 62, of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at SSM St. Mary's in Jefferson City. She was born in Fulton on February 1, 1958 to the late Woodrow Wilson Easley and the late Violet (Adair) Easley. Oveta was married to Terrance J. Vieth, who preceded her in death on February 18, 1996. Prior to a decline in her health, Oveta worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years. Oveta was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan who enjoyed crafting and shopping. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and cats. She will be lovingly remembered by son, Derek Vieth (Hope) of Russellville; daughter, Rebecca Pugh (Thomas) of Jefferson City; brother, Charles Easley (Linda) of Fulton; sister, Utana Goodin of Fulton; grandchildren, Conner Vieth, Daniel Pugh, Kaydence Turnbow, and Hayden Fairfax. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial donations are suggested to Maupin Funeral Home for the family, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, MO 65251.
