Linda Carroll Neukomm Day

Linda Carroll Neukomm Day, age 80, of Hannibal, died Thursday, December 31, 2020 after a brief illness. Mrs. Day was born June 18, 1940, in Fulton, Mo. Mrs. Day was first and foremost, a wife, mother, and grandmother. She also was a retired teacher having taught at the Hannibal Middle School for 25 years. Mrs. Day was a graduate of Stephens College and the University of Missouri-Columbia where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. She was a past board member of the American Red Cross, a member of the Hannibal Regional Hospital Auxiliary, and a member of the Arch Street Methodist Church. Mrs. Day is survived by her husband, Curtis A. Day; three children, Gary Franklin Land (Becky) of Union, Mo., Stephanie Lynn Bartlett of Jefferson City, Mo., and Kirsten Ann Rogers (Richard) of Omaha, Neb.; five grandchildren, Alexander Ross Lee Erbes, Emily Carroll Bartlett (Blake Rickard), Tyler Dean Randle, Kelsey Brook Bartlett, Lauren Elizabeth Randle, and Augustus Franklin Land; her sister, Suzanne Steinbeck; and numerous nieces and nephews. According to her wishes, Linda was cremated. A private burial service will be held in Fulton, Mo. at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the American Heart Association.
