Jennifer Lynn Sands

Jennifer Lynn Sands, 42, of Fulton, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, in St. Louis, Mo., surrounded by her loving family. Jennifer was born on July 1, 1978, in Winfield, Ill., the daughter of Robert and Janice (Miller) Fordyce, who survive. Jennifer attended York Community High School in Illinois. She grew up in Glen Ellyn and Elmhurst, Ill. She loved playing teacher as a child. She spent a great portion of her adulthood in a teacher setting; tutoring autistic teenagers at Edison Middle School in Wheaton, Ill. and tending to young toddlers in childcare in the mid-Missouri area. Jennifer enjoyed life and spending time in the outdoors gardening, sitting in the sun, traveling to the beach and spray park. She also loved spending time cooking, baking with her children, watching HGTV and the ID channel. Jennifer treasured her time with her children and grandchildren. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by her family and friends. Other survivors include: her two daughters, Alysen Fordyce (Chris Carroz) and Chloe Sands; her three sons, Alexander Sands, Justin Sands and Jacob Sands, all of Fulton, Mo.; two grandchildren, Hudson Carroz and Hadley Carroz; three sisters, Maureen Watkins (Christopher) of Salem, Ill., Janice Fordyce of Jefferson City, Mo. and Colleen Fordyce-Favela (Sergio) of Wheaton, Ill.; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur and Florence Miller, and Edmund and Betty Fordyce. Visitation will be on Friday, February 12, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Debo Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Brother Christopher Watkins officiating.
