Cathleen Rose Whitaker

Cathleen Rose Whitaker, 70, of Fulton, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021, at her home. She was born in Chesterfield, Missouri on November 22, 1950, to the late Robert Van Quaethem and the late Rosemary (Guthridge) Van Quaethem. On July 16, 1972, Cathleen was united in marriage to Robert Whitaker, who survives her passing. Cathleen was active at Rising Sun Baptist Church. She enjoyed collecting antiques and knick-knacks. She will be fondly remembered by her husband of 48 years, Robert; son, Jeff Whitaker of Fulton; brothers, Robin Van Quaethem of Ferguson and Dennis Van Quaethem of Washington, Mo.; sisters, Sally Van Quaethem and Mary Melugin (Jeff) of Clearwater, Fla.; sister-in-law, Kathy Van Quaethem of Osage Beach; and grandchildren, Joseph, Connor, and Lucas Duncan. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Stephen and Christopher Van Quaethem. Services will be planned at a later date.
