Gary Klick

Gary Klick, 67, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. He was born on March 27, 1954, to the late Benjamin Klick and the late Erna B. (Hamilton) Klick. Gary worked as a truck driver and equipment operator for Merten's for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, collecting knives, and cooking for his family and friends. Gary will be fondly remembered by partner, Georgia West; son, Jason Klick of Fulton; daughter, Jeanie Dobson (Jason) of Eminence; step-son, Robert Taylor of Fulton; step-daughter, Mary Simpson (David) of Fulton; brothers, Donald Klick (Pam) of Calwood, John Klick (Terry) of Fulton, and Jim Klick (Becky) of Fulton; sisters, Arba Clayton and Beverly Morgan, both of Fulton; sister-in-law, Patsy Klick of Auxvasse; grandchildren, Paul and Aly Dobson, Emma Simpson, and Sophia and Chloe Boone; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Heather Klick; and brother, Ronald Klick. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating.
