Patricia Joyce Moore

Patricia Joyce Moore, 83, of Auxvasse, Mo., passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020 at University Hospital in Columbia, Mo. Joyce was born on October 6, 1936 in Florida, Mo., the daughter of Willis and Irene (Dowell) Putnam, who preceded her in death. Joyce was united in marriage on June 20, 1953 in Callaway County to Manley Leroy Moore, who preceded her in death on October 23, 2005. They had four children, Carol, Darrell, Patricia and Doug. She worked for several years in the bakery at IGA in Fulton, Mo. Joyce enjoyed gardening, playing dominoes, doing word puzzles and had a passion for crafts, especially pottery. Survivors include: one daughter, Patricia Masek (Randy Brown) of Auxvasse, Mo.; two sons, Darrell Moore (Tammy) of Auxvasse, Mo. and Doug Moore of Branson, Mo.; 11 grandchildren, Angel McGuire, Carolyn Wilson (Dale), Bobby McGuire (Brianna), Dustin Moore (Dawn), Tara Moore, Kelsey Lamberson (Nate), Amanda Masek, Manley Masek, Shawn Moore, Derek Moore and Cheyenne Moore; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Evans of Antioch, Calif. and Kaye Knight of Mexico, Mo.; one sister-in-law, Beulah Craighead of Auxvasse, Mo.; two brothers-in-law, Richard Moore of Williamsburg, Mo. and Mangus Moore of Bachelor, Mo. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Carol McGuire; three sisters, Jean DeOrnellas, Aretta Earnhardt, and Violet Sharp; and three brothers, Wilbur Putnam, Carlos Putnam and Scotty Putnam. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Auxvasse Cemetery in Auxvasse, Mo. with Rev. Steve Smith officiating.
