Wesley Allen McArtor

Wesley Allen McArtor, age 36, of Fulton, Mo., went home to the Lord on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at his home in Fulton, Mo. Wes was born January 27, 1984 in Concordia, Kan. to Jimmy McArto and LouAnn Wiechert. They moved to Columbia in 1985. He attended Moberly Public School and then obtained his GED. In 2007 he moved to Fulton, Mo. In 2010 he accepted a position as a Power Plant Operator at the City of Fulton where he worked for more than 10 years. Wes was a wonderful father and an amazing husband. He married Sharlene Wales on September 19, 2009 in Jefferson City, Mo. Wes enjoyed fixing things (especially cars), riding motorcycles, music, fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends. His family will always remember him for his fun-loving personality and his kind and loving soul. Wes is survived by his wife, Sharlene and children, Zain and Braden of Fulton, Mo.; his mother, LouAnn McArtor of Moberly, Mo.; his in-laws, Tom and Becky Wales of Huntsville, Mo.; his grandmother, Frannie Weichert of Columbia, Mo.; his brother, Joseph McArtor and wife Stephanie of Moberly, Mo.; his brother, Scott McArtor and wife Shawnta of Moberly, Mo.; his sister, Leah and husband Toby Holcomb of Moberly, Mo.; his sister in-law, Amanda Anderson and wife Kimberley of Macon, Mo.; and his brother in-law, Tony Wales and wife Sandra of Salisbury, Mo. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy McArto,r and grandfather, Orville Weichert. A funeral service celebrating Wesley's life has been scheduled for Friday, October 16 at 12 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home, 411 Union Ave., Moberly, Mo. Visitation will be held October 16 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial. If desired donations may be made to the family for an education fund for Zain and Braden McArtor.
