Russell John Cook

Russell John Cook, age 68, of Fulton, Mo., passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at the University Hospital in Columbia, Mo. Russell was born on February 11, 1952 in Peoria, Ill., the son of Harry and Patricia (O'Leary) Cook, who preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in the Vietnam War. Russ worked for O'Reilly Auto Parts in Fulton, Mo., retiring in 2017. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles and collecting guns. Survivors include: one son, Eric Cook (Sabrina) of Lebanon, Mo.; three daughters, Kristen Cook of Hollister, Mo., Anessa Richardson (Scott) of Springfield, Mo. and Victoria Cook of Fulton, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Alyssa, Chelsea, Maximus, Kody, Kelli, Chance, Ayden, Cullen and Ollie; and three great-grandchildren, Adalynn, Lilah and Phoenix. He was also preceded in death by two granddaughters, Mia and Ellie; and one great-granddaughter, Harper. Graveside services and military honors will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Mo. with Bro. Joey Owens officiating.
