Darrell Dean Harris

HARRIS Darrell Dean Harris, 69, of Fulton, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at his home. Darrell was born on October 9, 1951 in Fulton, Mo., the son of Wallace Dean Harris and Betty Sue (Wright) Harris. He was married on February 10, 1973 in Cushing, Okla. to Mary Thorp. Darrell was a lifelong farmer and also worked for ABB (formerly Westinghouse), retiring in 2017 after 45 years of service where he was awarded two patents. He had a passion for farming, his cattle, and the outdoors; but he loved his children and grandchildren the most. Family was very important to him and he excelled at being a husband, dad and PaPa. Survivors include: his wife, Mary Harris of the home; his son, Caleb Dean Harris (Gina) of Silex, Mo.; his daughter, Chastity Louise Warrington (Jeff) of Perry, Mo.; his mother, Betty Harris of Fulton, Mo.; one brother, Kirby Harris (Nancy) of Fulton, Mo.; two sisters, Linda Duffy of Auxvasse, Mo. and Donna Andrade (Anthony) of Fulton, Mo.; four grandchildren, Devin Warrington (Rachel), Madison Warrington, Rylan Harris and Kasen Harris; and one great- granddaughter, Harper Warrington. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Harris; father, Wallace Harris; and brother-in-law, Donnie Duffy. Visitation will be on Monday, November 9, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton, Mo. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Judy Groner officiating. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens, Fulton, Mo.
