James Lewis Via Jr. "J.L.", 56, of Fulton, Mo., lost his battle with liver cancer on April 24, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Dawn (Evans), who he married in 2018. Survivors also include sons: Zachary (Katy) Via and Cory (Lauren) Via of Columbia; daughter: Cierra (Tony) Strange and Peter Scoggins Jr. of Fulton; three grandchildren; father: James (Pat) Via of Moberly; one brother: Doug Calvin of Kansas City; one sister: MeLinda (Lee) Schnyder of Wichita, Kan. In accordance with J.L's wishes, he chose cremation with a celebration of life to be conducted at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of TYLER M. WOODS FUNERAL DIRECTOR, 611 E.
