Dorothy "Dot" Leigh Reifsteck Winingear, 89, of Fulton, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at Valley Park Retirement Center in Fulton, Mo. Dorothy was born on March 6, 1931, in Fulton, Mo., the daughter of William Encil Butterfield and Mary Elizabeth (Rose) Butterfield who preceded her in death. She was married to William Glenn Reifsteck and George Floyd Winingear, both of whom have preceded her in death. Dot was very active in the community, she chaired the CMC Christmas Bazaar for many years; Council Woman 2nd ward from 1993-2001; received the Governor's Award prior to her retirement in 1995; received the American Business Woman Association Woman of the Year; Chairman of Callaway County United Way; and served on the Callaway Hospital Board of Directors. She was a secretary at Ferrugia & Son and Baker & Baker Law Office's in Fulton, Mo.. Dorothy retired after 26 years of service at the Fulton State Hospital in 1995 as the Director of Material Management. Survivors include: her three children, Linda (Bill) Brooks of Auxvasse, Mo,, Glenna (George) Burre of Tebbetts, Mo. and William Reifsteck of Branson, Mo.; four grandchildren, William "Web" E Brooks, Lisa Kee (Doug), Scott Brooks (Terri) and Shanna Marshall (Shannon); five great-grandchildren, Zak Kee (Paige), Jacob Kee (Hailee Bricker), Chance Kee (Lindsay Marcel), Austin Atterberry-Brooks and Lauren Quinn (Colin Miller); one great-great- granddaughter, Berkley Nicole Kee; one brother, Phillip Butterfield (Martha); one sister, Martha Glawson and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Brown; one brother, Joe Butterfield and two infant brothers, Dale and David. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, from Noon - 2:00 p.m. at Court Street United Methodist Church in Fulton, Mo. Private family services will follow with Rev. Rebecca Peak officiating. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Court Street United Methodist Church OR American Cancer Society OR St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, c/o Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court St., Fulton, MO 65251.
