Opal Marie Warfield

Opal Marie Warfield, 99, of Fulton, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020, at Fulton Nursing and Rehab. She was born on April 14, 1921, to the late Walter G. Dillon and the late Maude (Collins) Dillon. On August 14, 1941, Opal was united in marriage to Curtis French Warfield who preceded her in death on October 29, 2005. Opal enjoyed gardening and canning her harvest. She treasured moments spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include children, Wanda Joyce Warfield-Gerling of Fulton and Curtis L. Warfield Sr. of Fulton; four grandchildren, Mike Carey , Marietta Evans, Laura McCray (Robert), and Curtis Warfield Jr. (Nikki Page); and seven great-grandchildren, Chris Naes, Tyler Naes, Stuart Evans, Jade Richards, Kaitlyn Warfield, Cole Warfield, and Trey Warfield. In addition to her parents and husband, Opal was preceded in death by brothers, Delbert Dillon, Hallie Dillon, Leon Dillon, Raymond Dillon, Ennis Dillon, and Paris Dillon; and sisters, Lola Padgett, Goldie Dillon, and Gladys Martin.
