Beverly Sue Gowin Doward

Beverly Sue Gowin Doward, 78, of Fulton, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020, at Fulton Manor. She was born in Williamsburg, Missouri on July 20, 1941 to the late Walter Gowin and the late Helen (Willett) Benson. She was raised by the late Russell Benson. Bev retired from Fulton State Hospital where she worked as a Certified Nurses Aide. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Until her health prevented her from doing so, she loved to dance. Bev also enjoyed cooking for and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by sons, Russell Moore of Fulton, Montie Stiers of New Bloomfield; daughter, Rhonda Cundiff (Gary) of Fulton; grandchildren, Ashley Giboney (Jeremy), Grant Cundiff (Kayla), Rebecca Matteson (Brandon), Russell Moore Jr., Derrick Dudley, and Zack Moore (Kyla); and great-grandchildren, Jeremiah and Aliviah Giboney, Grayson Cundiff, Keitan and Eli Matteson, and Rhett Moore who will soon make his arrival. Bev was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Graveside services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Callaway Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating.
