Ronald Lee Baker, 60, of Fulton, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at his home near Fulton, Mo. Ronald was born on September 22, 1959 in Fulton, Mo., the son of Clyde Thomas Baker and Carol (Higgins) Baker, who preceded him in death. He graduated from New Bloomfield High School in 1978. Ron retired in 2010 from MODOT as an operator after 30 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith, an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and spending time with his family. Survivors include: one son, Justin Baker of Fulton, Mo. and his mother, Jamie Onger of Indianapolis, Ind.; special friend and companion, Cheryl Vandeloecht and her children, Tyler Gilleland and Matt West and families. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Baker, and one sister, Beverly Rothove. Graveside services and burial will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. at Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton, Mo. with Rev. Bruce Williamson officiating.
