Doris May Dudley

Doris May Dudley, 80, of Fulton, passed away at her home on Monday, December 7, 2020. She was born on May 4, 1940 in Callaway County, Missouri to the late Ira D. Vaughn and the late Roxie E. (Day) Vaughn Gilman. On July 11, 1958, Doris was united in marriage to George L. "Corkie" Dudley. He survives her passing. Doris worked at Stride Rite Shoe Factory, Daniels, and was a dispatcher for Callaway County. She retired from Ameren where she worked as a clerk. Doris was a member of New Hope Cemetery Association. Doris was devoted to her family and enjoyed time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years; sons, Leroy Dudley (Sandi) of Fulton, and Richard Dudley (Barb) of Central City, Iowa.; daughter, Rita Cundiff of Fulton; sister, Mary Lou Giboney (Marvin) of Fulton; sisters-in-law, Betty Vaughn, and Mira Gilman; grandchildren, Daron Dudley (Kristi), Kevin Dudley (Megan), Kayla Mysak (Jake), Ryan Cundiff (Amanda), Chad Cundiff (Marina), Chase Cundiff (Tracy), and Justin Dudley (Megan); and great-grandchildren, Brinley and Bristol Dudley, Mason and Jarett Mysak, Evan, Allison, Everly, Chloe, and Carter Cundiff, and Easton Dudley. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by brothers, William "Bill" Vaughn, Jerry Vaughn, Kenneth "Bub" Gilman, and Richard Gilman. No services are planned at this time.
