Gloria Jean Smith Dudley

Gloria Jean Smith Dudley fell asleep in death on Friday, February 9, 2018. She was born on June 29, 1948, in Fulton, Mo., to Otho Lindell Smith and Marjorie Berneice Johnson Smity. She married James Lee Dudley on March 30, 1968. She dedicated her life to Jehovah on July 13, 1973 and enjoyed participation in the ministry, especially enjoying her time spent on the college campus. Gloria had three loves of her life: her father Jehovah, her family - both physical and spiritual, and the children who rode with her on her various bus routes. Gloria is survived by: sister, Mary Smith; cousin, Kelly Sheets; sister, Kay Trowbridge; sister, Barbara Harbaugh; sister, Connie Higgins and friend Larry; brother, Curtis Smith (wife Michelle); sister, Alice Bradley (husband Daniel); sister, Cheryl Henley and friend Pete; two grandchildren, Rachel and Hunter Dudley; a family friend, Judy Sheets; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her husband James; one son, Otho Reed Dudley; a brother, Otho Lloyd Smith; and her parents. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at the Kingdom of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1600 Rice Road, Fulton, Mo.
