Albert Hall, 92, of Jefferson City, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Heisinger Bluffs. He was born on May 16, 1926, in Moberly, a son of the late Lonnie Moore and Clara Belle (McDonald) Hall. In 1946, Albert married Alice Rudkin, who preceded him in death in 1985. On October 18, 1992, he married Mary Grace Sitton, who preceded him in death in September 2003. On January 20, 2007, he married Betty Wheeler, who preceded him in death on November 17, 2017. Albert graduated from Moberly High School. He enlisted with the United States Navy and served from 1944 to 1946. He was employed with F.W. Woolworth for over 18 years. Albert was managing partner of Westlake Hardware in Jefferson City and continued to serve on the Board of Directors after his retirement, serving over 45 years with the company. He also served on the board of directors for the YMCA and Salvation Army. Albert was a past President of the West Side Business Association and was a member of the Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, Fraternal Order of Eagles, American Legion, VFW and Immanuel Baptist Church. Albert was a dedicated philanthropist and supported many honorable causes such as the Statute of Liberty renovations, the World War II Memorial, the Salvation Army and numerous other law enforcement and veteran's organizations. He was privileged to participate in a Veteran's Honor Flight. Albert enjoyed gardening and dancing but his most cherished events included his family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Albert is survived by children: Connie Hamilton of Lee's Summit and Sharon Williams (Jim) of Lake Ozark; step-children: Jerry Sitton (Linda), Jerry Wheeler, and Jackie Niedergerke (Jim); step-daughter-in-law: Cheryl Sitton; grandchildren: Sean Parrack, Kimberly Willard (Kirk), Timothy Williams (Elisa), Heather Parrack Van Asselt, Benjamin Williams (Rachele), Rachel Hall and Alex Hall; eight step-grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son: Greg Hall; step-son: John Sitton; two brothers and two sisters. Friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Intombment will follow at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with full military honors.
