Jerry Wayne Payne

Jerry Wayne Payne, 73, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017, at Pin Oaks Nursing Home in Mexico, Missouri. Jerry was born July 1, 1944 in Fulton to Charles Leroy and Minnie Polacek Payne, who preceded him in death. He was married to Pat Gowin on July 19, 1968 in Fulton and she survives. Jerry graduated from Fulton High School in 1963. He served in the United States Army before working at Harbison-Walker, Zemps Tire Service, Wren's Oldsmobile and Fulton State Hospital until his retirement in 1999. He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and following Carl Edwards and he was a big fan of country and western music, especially George Jones. Jerry also loved to collect model trains, fish and travel with his wife, Pat, to Branson, Missouri. He is also survived by three children, Suzanne Windsor, Jerry Payne Jr. and Tammy Payne, all of Fulton; brother, Roger Payne of Auxvasse; sister, Ramona McLain of Auxvasse; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Jerry was also preceded in death by two brothers, Danny and Ronnie Payne. Graveside services will be at a later date at Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton.
