Delores (Welschmeyer) Miller

Delores (Welschmeyer) Miller, 65, of Montgomery City, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 27, 1952, in Mexico, Mo. to Joseph and Eileen (Worland) Welschmeyer. She married Richard Miller on Aug. 11, 1990. He preceded her in death on May 10, 2006. She was very active in the community and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. She loved being a step-mom, granny, aunt and great- aunt. She is survived by step-children: Kale (Beth) Miller of Montgomery City; Anna Singer (Jared) of rural Sedalia, and Megan Bruce (Cory) of St. Charles, Mo; grandchildren: Paige, Eric, Mariah, Cora and Jolie; mother-in-law: Marjorie Oliver Miller of Montgomery City; three sisters: Jane Bellinghausen (Bob) of Columba; Barbara Jones (Larry) of Fulton; Mary Beth Strassner (David) of Swiss; three brothers: Jim Welschmeyer (Barbara) of Wellsville; Pat Welschmeyer of Columbia; Harold Welschmeyer of Mexico and numerous special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Montgomery City, Mo., with a Prayer Service at 8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30, at the church. Interment will be in the Worland Cemetery, near Montgomery City. Officiates will be: Reverends Augustine Okoli, Christopher Cordes, Eddie Becker and Monsg. Greg Higley along with Deacons Mark Aulbur and Wayne Korte.
