Veronica Denise Evans

Veronica Denise Evans, 46, of Columbia, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at her residence. She was born on July 31, 1970, in Fulton, Missouri, the daughter of Bruce Yocum and Delois Evans. She graduated from Fulton High School and earned her Bachelor's Degree from Columbia College. She worked for the Activity and Recreation Center (ARC) of Columbia. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and classmates. She loved to spend time with her nieces at the movies or playing in the park. Veronica is survived by her mother: Delois Evans of Columbia; one brother: Charles Darnell Yocum of Kansas; three very special nieces: Alyric, Skyann, Victoria and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents. Friends will be received 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Second Christian Church, Fulton Mo. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Second Christian Church, Fulton Mo. with the Reverend Melvin McCaleb Burial will follow at Southside Cemetery.
