Linda Lee Smith

Linda Lee Smith, 70, of Auxvasse, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at her home with loved ones by her side. She was born on September 4, 1946, in Monroe County, Missouri, the daughter of the late Timothy E. Logerman and the late Dorothy L. (Closser) Logerman. On November 19, 1964, Linda was united in marriage to Raymond R. Smith. He survives her passing. Linda was a graduate of Auxvasse High School. She loved to crochet. The times that brought Linda the most joy were those spent with her grandchildren. Those remaining to cherish her memory include her husband of 52 years; son, Roger Smith (Rhonda) of Naylor, Mo.; daughters, Sandy Montgomery (Mark) and Susan Blackston, all of Auxvasse; brother, Lewis Logerman (J'Teena) of Mexico; sister, Judy Donaldson of Mexico; and grandchildren, Denny and Daniel Smith of Naylor, Mo., Megan McAlexander (Eric) of Archie, Mo., Emily Montgomery of Auxvasse, and Shawn Blackston of St. Robert. Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, William "Bill" Logerman. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 31, 2017, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Rebecca Mulford officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Auxvasse Cemetery.
