Cecil Brown

Cecil J. Brown, 53, of Kingdom City, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at University Hospital in Columbia. Cecil was born December 19, 1961, in Fulton to John W. Brown Sr. and Barbara N. Butler. He was a 1980 graduate of North Callaway High School and had attended Moberly Junior College. He later received his Associates Degree from MMI in Phoenix, Arizona. Cecil was baptized at Richland Baptist Church in Kingdom City and was a member of the Fulton Jaycees. He loved to ride and work on motorcycles and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and basketball but his greatest passion was playing with his grandchildren. He is survived by his father, John (Evelyn) Brown Sr. of Kingdom City; mother, Barbara Butler of Fulton; son, Ryan Brown of Auxvasse; daughter, Anastasia Brown of Fulton; brother, John W. (Marilyn) Brown Jr. of Sanford, North Carolina; sisters, Betty Fagan of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri; Willetta (Lawrence) Brookins of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Kathy Brown of Columbus, Georgia; grandchildren, Reed Brown, Emily Brown, Anthony Brown and Autumn Rader along with best friends, Bryan Sprock and Dave (Joann) Martin. Cecil was preceded in death by brother, Michael Brown; grandparents, Herbert and Leona Brown and Homer and Orphia Butler and cousin, Tammy Busker. Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2015, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow in Oak Level "Yucatan" Cemetery near Williamsburg, Missouri. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
