Marcella Rose White, 80, of Litchfield, Ill., died Wednesday, November 25, 2015, in Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care, Gillespie, Ill. She was born on February 15, 1935 in Farmersville, Ill., the daughter of Henry and Frances Elizabeth (Wagahoff) Fireman. She was a member of Holy Family Parish in Litchfield where she participated in St. Anne's Society. She was a charter member of the Montgomery County Genealogical Society and volunteered at the Litchfield Carnegie Public Library. She was employed by Sierra Mfg. in Litchfield as a packaging and warehouse worker for 23 years before retiring in 1998. She is survived by: three sons, Larry (Debbie) White of Litchfield, Ill., David (Terry) White of Fulton, Mo., and Terry (Cheryl) White of New Bloomfield, Mo.; two daughters, Lynn (Terry) Scoggins of Fulton, Mo., and Susan (Kevin) Doyle of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bernard Fireman and Joseph Fireman in infancy; and one great-grandson, Gavin Miller. Funeral Mass will be said Monday, November 30, 2015 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Catholic Church in Litchfield, Ill. The Very Rev. James L. Neuman, V.F. will preside. Burial will be in St. Martin's Cemetery in Farmersville, Ill. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3:00 until 6 p.m. in Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield, Ill. A Prayer Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. The family suggests memorials to St. Anne's Society CCW.
