Thomas Wetherell

Thomas August Wetherell, 78, of Fulton, went to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, November 4, 2015. He was born on December 26, 1936 in Callaway County, the son of the late Franklin Earl Wetherell and the late Hazel Marie (Conrod) Wetherell. On December 10, 1983, Thomas was united in marriage to Janis Foster-Kelley Wetherell. She survives his passing. Thomas worked as a mechanic for International Harvester, Smart Brothers, AP Green, and the City of Fulton. He enjoyed fishing, camping, CBs, ham radios, mowing, and playing cards. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Thomas will be greatly missed by his wife, Janis; son, Tommie E. Wetherell (Marla) of Fulton; daughter, Teresa A. Cloud (Paul) of Fulton; their mother, JoAnn Dudley-Wetherell; step-son, Howard W. Kelley Jr. (Derinda) of Williamsburg; step-daughter, Shelly Trisler (Jeff) of Williamsburg; brother, Bennie Wetherell (Louise) of Fulton; sisters, Ruth Ann Clark of Mokane and Alice Backer of Fulton; grandchildren, Stacy Skinner, Amanda Cloud, Kyle Wetherell, C. W. Kelley, Sharina Vandeloecht, Jamie Trisler, Kathryn Trisler, Raymond Kelley, and Adam Kelley; and great-grandchildren, Lexi Skinner, Ali Skinner, Zoey Wetherell, Taylor Kelley, and Zachary Vandeloecht. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Jonathan Totty officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
