Martha J. (Steinbach) Schneider, 69, of Fulton, Missouri, went to be with her Lord on Friday, May 8, 2015. Marty was born on February 7, 1946 in Montrose, Missouri to the late George and Lucy (Groner) Steinbach. On July 10, 1965, she was united in marriage to Robert L. Schneider at St. Bernadette Church in St. Louis, Missouri. They were married for almost 50 years. Marty was an active member of St. Peter Church in Fulton. She was a member of the Sunday Bible Class, a lector and a communion minister, and a member of the Ladies Society. Before her illness she often attended daily Mass. In the Fulton community, she had been involved with the Callaway Senior Center, the local garden club, soup kitchen, and homeless shelter. Marty loved her husband and family and enjoyed spending time with them. She and Bob often took day trips to local historical and nature sites, in addition to traveling throughout the country. At home, family meals with her kids and grandkids meant the world to her. She is survived by many family members who will cherish her memory: her husband, Robert (Bob) Schneider; sons, Larry and Steve (Nora Sheehan) Schneider; daughter, Carol (Bill) Hinchie; grandchildren, Josh, Angela, Mary, Joseph, and Teresa Hinchie, and Jamie Schneider; siblings, Roger Steinbach (Fern), Tom Steinbach (Charlotte Williams), Lorraine Schneider, and Fran (Don) Mesplay; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
