Mary Ruth Taylor, 89, of Fulton, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Fulton Manor. She was born in Fulton on August 19, 1925, to the late Harvey Lester Lander and the late Alma (Willenbrink) Lander. On October 11, 1974, Mary was united in marriage to Warren Taylor of St. Louis. He preceded her in death. Mary attended Brown School and Fulton West School. She transferred to St. Peter Catholic School when it opened in 1934. She was a life-time member of St. Peter Catholic Church. For many years she was employed at Fulton State Hospital as a Surgical Tech. She was a loving and active aunt to her nieces and nephews as well as a loving caretaker of her mother and dad until their passing. She is survived by her sisters, Margaret Stack and Patricia (Bob) Baker and her brother, Millard (Thelma) Lander, all of Fulton. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brother, William Louis Lander; brother-in-law, Maurice Stack; niece, Kyle Elaine Harris; and great-niece, Chrissy Ewing. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015, at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Father Frank Bussmann officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Interment will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
