Thelma Jean Breid

Thelma Jean Breid, age 85, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015, at Fulton Manor in Fulton, Missouri. Thelma was born in Fulton on February 12, 1930, to Clarence Cornelius Keith and Lucy Hulen Lazenby Keith. She met James Leland Breid in Sunday School at First Christian Church and they married on June 25, 1950. Thelma graduated from Fulton High School and Kansas City Scretarial School. Over the years, she was employed at William Woods, Fulton State Hospital and Breid Electric. She was a longtime member of Central Christian Church and enjoyed camping with friends, painting and gardening. She loved her dogs, Kodi and Gidget. Thelma is survived by her two sons: Jim (Kris) Breid and Steve Breid; grandsons: Shawn Breid and Sam Breid; great- grandchildren: Nick Giles, Kaitlyn Bried and Kyleigh Oldham; and her brother, Terry (Mary) Keith. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her granddaughter, Becky Breid. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 24,at 1:00 p.m. at Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton, Missouri. Memorial donations are suggested to Central Christian Church.
