Margaret Louise Summers Gibson

Margaret Louise Summers Gibson, 87, of Holts Summit, Missouri, entered into eternal rest Friday, March 20, 2015. She was born November 12, 1927, in Tibbetts, Missouri, the daughter of Oscar William Summers and Josephine Langley Summers. Margaret worked at Greenstons, The Arrowhead Motel and Joe's CafÈ of Columbia. She retired in 1992 from the University of Missouri, Lewis and Clarke Dining Hall Services. Margaret raised seven children, three who have preceded her in death: Linda Kay Gibson, Sheryl Lynn Gibson, and Walter Lee Gibson. Survivors include one son: William Eugene(Donna) Gibson; three daughters: Vanda Louise (Larry) Rice, Marsha Jean (Chuck) Boelkes, and Barbara Elliott; one daughter-in-law, Rosemary Gibson; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Lois Spencer; one sister-in-law, Nora (Frank) Pucket; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 22, from 4-6:00 p.m. at Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit.
