Shirley Gene Jordan Berry, 80, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015. Shirley was born June 30, 1935 in Holts Summit, Missouri to Thomas and Birdie Althoff Rice who preceded her in death. She was married to John Jordan on July 18, 1953, in New Bloomfield, Missouri and later to Howard Berry, they both preceded her in death. Shirley was a 1953 graduate of New Bloomfield High School. She had worked in the cafeteria at the High School and later at Gaspers in Kingdom City. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church in New Bloomfield, the Callaway Garden Club and Quilting Club both in Fulton. She regularly attended Curves, enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and watching birds. Shirley is survived by sons, Richard (Sandra) Jordan of Phoenix, Arizona, Larry (Darla) Jordan of Fulton, Bruce (Alice) Jordan of Holts Summit; daughters, Katherine Jordan of New Bloomfield and Vanessa (Phillip) Markway of Jefferson City; sisters, Henryetta (John T) Cave of New Bloomfield and Dorris (Billy) Staats of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Rebecca Rubel, Joshua Jordan, Amber Markway, Curtis Markway, Kasey Jordan and Brandie Jordan along with 10 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Bob Rice and Charles Rice. Services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2015, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri. Burial will follow at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens in Jefferson City, Missouri. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
