Patricia Miller

Patricia "Patty" Audrene Woods Miller, 70, of Fulton, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015, at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia. She was born November 14, 1944, in Pekin, Ill., the daughter of Ernest Woods Sr. and Clara (McGinnis) Durham. On October 13, 1960, Patricia was united in marriage to Benny J. Miller. He survives her passing. She enjoyed watching Gunsmoke, reading, and spending time with her family. She always looked forward to monthly lunches with "The Girls" from high school. Patricia will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her children, Lesa Shipp (Mike) of Fulton, Gregory Miller (Ronda) of Fulton, Michelle Smith (Curtis) of Fulton, and Meagan Odneal (Mike) of Jefferson City; 12 grandchildren, Benjamin Shipp (Amanda) of Gravois Mills, Emily Nelson (Dane) of Virginia Beach, Va., Kloee Midkiff (Austin) of Marshall, Guthrie Shipp of Fulton, Hilary Miller of Fulton, Trevor Miller of Burnett, Texas, Ethan and Colin Miller of Fulton, Chelsee Meyer of Springfield, Augustah, Norah and Clarah Odneal of Jefferson City; three great-grandchildren, Olivia and Finnegan Shipp of Gravois Mills, and Easton Nelson of Virginia Beach, Va.; sister Gloria Chaney (Dick) of Mesa, Ariz.; sister-in-law, Jolene Woods of New Bloomfield; very special aunt, Donna Faye Neureuther of Pekin, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Ray Durham; brother, Ernest Woods Jr.; and son-in-law, David Meyer. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Hams Prairie Christian Church with Ben Montgomery officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at the Hams Prairie Christian Church. Interment will be in the Mokane Cemetery.
