Edward G. Wilt

Edward "Jerry" G. Wilt, age 59, of Viburnum, Missouri, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015, at his home. He was born September 20, 1955, in St. Louis, Missouri to Edward Harry Wilt and Helen Marie Klopstein Wilt. Jerry attended schools in St. Louis, Camdenton and Fulton. In 2013, he retired from Indeeco in Cuba. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. He is survived by his longtime friend and companion, Donna Darrough of Steelville, Mo.; brother, Ted Wilt of Fulton, Mo.; son, Edward Shane Wilt of Kansas City, Mo.; Donna's father and sisters, Joseph Darrough, Diane Marks and Doris Arbogast and husband Andy, all of Florissant, Mo. and their children, Ashley, Caleigha, Cassy Arbogast and Donna's niece, nephew and great-niece, Laura Marks, Douglas Marks and Kay Lyn Clark; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2015, at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Mo., with Rev. Bob Coleman officiating. Committal prayer and interment were in the New Bethlehem Cemetery on Monday, February 16, 2015, in St. Louis, Mo. The family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Mo.
