William "Bill" D. Harris, 72, of Williamsburg, Missouri, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015, at his home. Bill was born June 12, 1942, in Fulton, to Glen and Virginia Kimbell Harris and they preceded him in death. He was married on December 31, 1962, in Fulton, to Shirley Findley and she preceded him in death in 2006. Bill served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was the owner of the Texaco Service Station in Fulton for a while and retired from A.P. Green in Mexico, Missouri. After his retirement he continued to work on cars for his friends and family and he also had a lawn mowing business. He is survived by daughters, Billie (Joe) McDonald of New Bloomfield, Bobbie (Andrew Singh) Harris of Olathe, Kansas and Beckie (Kent) Fischer of Fulton; brothers, Richard (Connie) Harris of Fulton and Dennis (Sherry) Martin of Auxvasse, Missouri; sister-in-law, Bebe Harris of Fulton; brother-in-law, Larry Findley; eight grandchildren, Steven and David Berg, Brandy Wisdom, Bradley Gilman, Alexandria McDonald, Treasa McPherson, Casey and Zach Fischer; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Gary Harris. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 1 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial with military honors will follow in Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30 at the funeral home.
