John LeCompte Danuser, 74, of Fulton, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at his home. He was born in Fulton on July 23, 1940, the son of the late John Henry Danuser and the late Lillian Hill (Hamilton) Danuser. On August 13, 1988, John was united in marriage to Karen Sue (Rueffer) Danuser. She survives at their home. John was the owner of Sky Go Farms in Fulton. He was a founding member of the Kingdom of Callaway Model T Club and President of Model T Club 19. He was also into black powder guns and shooting. In addition to his wife, John will be missed by son, Ronald David Danuser of Fulton; daughter, Gina Christine Gilbertson (Greg) of O'Fallon and Kimberly Kay Vaughn (Chris) of Fulton; brother, William Jerry Danuser (Janet) of Fulton; grandchildren, Heather Krier of San Diego, Calif., Tyler Vaughn (Heather) of Mokane, Tayler Vaughn of Fulton, and Ethan Danuser of Houston, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Declan Hill of O'Fallon, Kennedy Limon of Atlanta, Ga., Brenden Limon of Atlanta, Ga., Alexis Vaughn of Mokane and Kinslee Vaughn of Mokane. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., on Friday, November 28, 2014, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Dewaine Seets officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
