Raymond Hill Miller

Raymond Hill Miller, 87, of Fulton, Mo. passed away on Friday, January 3, 2014, at Presbyterian Manor. He was born October 20, 1926, in Fulton, Mo., the fifth son of Frederick Miller and Lily Vann Hill Miller. On July 11, 1926, he married his most precious love, Sarah Katherine (Baumgartner) Miller. Raymond was a member of Central Christian Church. He was an early member of Fulton Jaycees and member of Fulton Kiwanis. Raymond proudly served his country in the United States Merchant Marines from 1945 - 1946. His career spanned over 49 years with the Ovid Bell Press, Inc. He enjoyed church fellowship, Cardinals Baseball, bowling, gardening, working in his yard and time with his family and friends. Those remaining who will forever hold him in their hearts include: his wife of 66 years, Katie of Presbyterian Manor, Fulton; children, Lynette Miller of Fulton, Mo., Becky Rader (Larry) of Columbia, Mo., Karen Miller (Greg) of St. Charles, Mo., Karla Gable (Darrel) of St. Louis, Mo., and Julie Miller (Bill Hone) of Fulton, Mo.; grandchildren, Mandy Richardson (Kevin), Kara Albert (Tiffaney), Schuyler Albert, Kyle Rader, Brandon Rader (Anastasia, Emily, and Anthony), Sarah Raymon (Jeff), Kelli Fisher (Pete), Alex Gable, Peter Gable, Zane Miller, Colin Miller, Cheyenne Hone and great-grandchildren, Miller Richardson, Will Raymon, and Hannah Fisher. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 6, 2014, at the Debo Funeral Home in Fulton, with Pastor Bill Nigus officiating. Private family burial will follow in Central Christian Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
