Bobby "Bob" Earl Adams, 78, of Mokane, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014, at his home. He was born September 7, 1935, in Sayre, Okla., the son of the late Earl and Dora (Noah) Adams. Bob worked for Macklanburg-Duncan Building Supply Co. and also part-time for Westlakes during their green season. He was an avid fisherman, loved to feed birds, and especially spending time with his family and his precious grandchildren. He is survived by two sons, Gary Adams (Tempie) and Randy Adams (Vicki), all of Fulton; two daughters, Becky Farris (Larry) of Roach Mo. and Kendra Lawyer (Matthew) of Franklin Tenn.; eight grandchildren, Samantha Adams Hicks, Ashley Adams, Christa Rothove, Larry Joe "Joey" Farris Jr., Corry Adams, Miranda Adams, Jacob Lawyer, and Peyton Lawyer; and five great-grandchildren, Zachary Hicks, Justin Rothove, Ryan Rothove, Haile Farris, and Evan Farris. Bob will also be missed by a dear friend, Nancy Petty. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by three sisters. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m,, Tuesday, February 18, at the Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Rev. Gary Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Callaway Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
