Helen Virginia Hoover, 94, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014, at Fulton Manor. Helen was born June 29, 1920 in New Florence, Missouri, to George and Emma Becker Malicoat and they preceded her in death. She was married to Harold Hoover on June 17, 1942 in Tuscumbia, Missouri, and he preceded her in death. She attended Whiteside School and worked for several years as a salad maker for Gaspers Truck Stop. She was a member of Old Auxvasse Nine Mile Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed playing bingo and other activites and faithfully attended the Fulton Manor church services. Helen is survived by her daughter, Rosie Winingear and fiancé, Russell Renner, of Fulton; son, Rocky Lane of Jefferson City, Missouri; grandson, Justin William (Deanna) Winingear of Wentzville, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Lee, Ashton Hayes, Isabella Renee, Dalton Gage, Titus William and Naomi Rae Winingear; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. She was also preceded in death by brother, Guy Malicoat; sisters, Pauline White, Frankie Chiles, Margie Malicoat, Martha Dunavant, Genevieve and Florence Malicoat; great-grandson, Tristen Winingear; and several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2 at the funeral home.
