Mary Payne

Mary Margaret Payne, 94, of Fulton, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2014. Mary was born February 23, 1920, in Castana, Iowa, to Roy Lee and Ida Estes McDonald. She married Orville Payne on April 20, 1940, in Fulton. Mary was an active member of Church of God Holiness in Fulton and enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. She is survived by: her children, David "Jack" (Marjorie) Payne of New Bloomfield, Leonard (Janice) Payne of Fulton, Delbert (Gwen) Payne of Fulton, Opal (Willy) Brandl of Fulton, Nancy (Russ) Stith of Kingdom City, and Jeff Payne of Fulton; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Johnny Payne; brothers, Raymond and J.D. McDonald; sisters, Evelyn Calvin, Zilpha Christopher, Francis Hockemeyer and Mickey Mirts Visitation will be Wednesday, August 13, 2014, from 10 a.m. until time of services at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, at Debo Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Fulton.
