Mildred "Milly" Lodell (Gohring) Terrell, age 88, of Fulton was called home by her Heavenly Father on Monday, April 28, 2014. She was born December 2, 1925, in Fulton, the daughter of the late Henry Gohring and the late Anna E. (Qualls) Gohring. On June 29, 1947, Milly was united in marriage to Robert William Terrell. He preceded her in death on July 14, 1984. Milly was a charter member of Southside Baptist Church. For 18 years, Milly was blessed, along with Martha and Jan Dunavant, to have the privilege to help shape the lives of the three year old class at Southside Baptist Church. She loved to hear the children sing "Jesus Loves the Little Children". A genuinely kind person, Milly had a ready smile and kind word for the many people she greeted while working at WalMart and Mattingly's. The most important things in Milly's life were her faith and her family. A phrase often shared between Millie and her children was "thanks for being ours" as they meant that much to each other. Milly's loss will be felt deeply by her family including three sons, Tom Terrell and his wife Lou Ann of Olathe, Kan., Terry Terrell of Fulton, and Randy Terrell and his wife Debbie of Mesa. Ariz.; daughter, Vicky Parcel and her husband Rich of Hallsville; brother, Morris Gohring of Fulton; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Gohring, Nancy Terrell, and Mary Frances Campbell; five grandchildren, William Terrell, Benjamin Terrell, Ross Parcel, Sherry Terrell, and Matthew Wisecup; four step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
