John Joseph ìJoeyî Epperson, 46, of Clermont, Florida, passed away in his sleep on Sunday, July 14, 2013, at his home. Joey was born August 31, 1966 in Topeka, Kansas to John Allan Epperson and Nellie Mae Paul Epperson, who both preceded him in death. Joey had one child, Janice Mae Jenkins-Epperson who also preceded him in death. Joey grew up in Fulton, Missouri and spent most of his life there before moving to Florida in 2010. Joey was a talented musician and spent 32 years of his life perfecting his craft. He worked part-time as a guitar teacher and helped numerous people learn to love music as much as he did. He was also an avid gardener and enjoyed growing and sharing produce with others. He had a great love for animals and took in and sheltered many strays during his time in Missouri and Florida. Joey is survived by his sister, Lisa Dawn Epperson-Williams of Jefferson City, Missouri and her husband Walter, their children Ryan Wright, Jacquelyne Wright, Deanna Wright-Hawkins and Ben Williams; and one younger brother, Daniel Riley Epperson, also of Jefferson City, Missouri and his daughter (Dani); two adopted daughters, Erica and Heather Epperson of Missouri. Joey is also survived by his special friend and love of his life, Ann Galbreath of Clermont, Florida. Joeyís wishes were to be cremated and for his friends and family to simply have a celebration of life in his remembrance. As he wished, there will not be a funeral service.
