Carol Ann Shea

Carol Ann Shea, 62, of New Bloomfield, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013. She was born May 18, 1951, in Cuba, Mo., to Bertelle (Cavanaugh) and Frank DeVille, Sr. Carol retired after 28 years at the Fulton State Hospital. She also was fond of taking in stray animals. Carol is survived by her son, Chris Shea (wife, Heather); seven siblings: Bertelle Schoenefeld, Mark DeVille, JoAnn Erickson, Frank DeVille, Joe DeVille, Tess Gilmore, and Jim DeVille; two granddaughters: Sabria Shea and Kayla Shea; and her mother, Bertelle Gilmore. She was preceded in death by her father. No services are planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Second Chance Animal Shelter.
