Loretta Jeanne Thompson

Loretta Jeanne Thompson, 42, of Fulton, died Saturday, September 17, 2011, in Osage County as a result of an automobile accident. Loretta was born September 13, 1969, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond Donald and Joyce Marie (Houseman) Whipple. Ms. Thompson was a Christian by faith and had graduated from Hallsville High School. She had worked at numerous Break Times in the area, Casey's in Mexico and Dairy Queen in Fulton. She was easy to get along with, always offered help to all and was an avid computer user. Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth Thompson of Branson and Emily Thompson of Fulton; her mother, Joyce Whipple of Mexico; two brothers, Raymond Whipple of Mexico and Richard (Stephanie) Whipple of Mexico; three sisters, Laurie Childress of Chesapeake, Virginia, Leisa Yount of Mexico and Lynne Hall of Hallsville; 12 nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews. Loretta was preceded in death by her father. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico.
