Mary Pauline Russell

Mary Pauline Russell, 52, of Auxvasse, passed away, Friday, May 27, 2011. She was born September 22, 1958 in Washington, Mo. to Ralph and Anna Marie Marquart Ballmann. She married Bill Russell on July 7, 1979, and he preceded her in death on September 14, 2006. She married Michael Edward Woods on June 6, 2009, and he survives. Mary attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Columbia. She enjoyed her family, working outdoors in her garden and spoiling her grandchildren. Survivors include: three sons, Ryan Russell of Columbia, Seth Russell and wife Seika of Anchorage, Alaska and Patrick Woods and wife Jessica of Toney, Ala.; three daughters, Lacey Hodges and husband Timmothy of Macon, Mo., Christina Russell of Columbia and Belinda Woods of Madison, Ala.; a brother, Dennis Ballmann of Columbia; a sister, Cheryl Voyles and husband LeRoy of New Haven, Mo.; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William "Bill" Russell; her parents; brother, Doug Ballmann; and sister, Kathy Davis. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Parker Funeral Service in Columbia. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 3, 2011 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Washington, Mo. Burial will be in Midlawn Memorial Gardens in Union, Mo.
