Dennis Ray Richardson

Dennis Ray Richardson, 59, of Barnett, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011, in Eldon, Missouri. He was born March 29, 1952, in St. Charles, Missouri, a son of the late Norwood and Clara (Ravenscraft) Richardson. He was a graduate of Jefferson City High School. Dennis was a longtime Carpenter, and worked for A.P. Green Refractories in Fulton for many years. He was a member of the Eldon Church of the Nazarene in Eldon. Dennis loved riding Harley-Davidson motor-cycles, going to bike shows, hunting, fishing and playing his guitar. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He is survived by two sons: Shawn Richardson (wife Lora) of Gravois Mills; Michael Richardson of Jefferson City; three step-daughters: Debbie, Jessica and Jamie; one brother: Bruce Richardson (wife Betty) of Holts Summit; his former wife: Shirley Mae Richardson of Jefferson City; and eleven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and four siblings: Patricia Richardson, Richard Richardson, Jerry Richardson and Ronnie Richardson. Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, with Rev. Jerry Frey officiating. Interment will follow in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
