Charles K. O'Neal, 89, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011, at Fulton Manor. He was born May 28, 1922, in Bagwell, Texas, the son of the late Charley and Rose (Rembert) O'Neal. He was united in marriage to June (Auchly) O'Neal who survives at their home. Charles was a self-employed farmer. He was a member of the National Farmers Organization and Fulton VFW Post 2657. He spent a lot of time at the Callaway Senior Center and delivered Meals on Wheels for years. In addition to his wife, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son, Tom (Jean) O'Neal of Auxvasse, Missouri; two daughters, Peggy (Chuck) Laughlin of Mokane, Missouri and Mary Lou (David) Whyte of Tampa, Florida; six grandchildren, Brian Whyte, Dawn DeBrodie, Douglas Patrick, Kevin O'Neal, Kris O'Neal and Kyle O'Neal; one step-granddaughter, Wendy Custard; 15 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ire O'Neal of Fulton, Missouri; four sisters, Irene Weatherby of Calwood, Missouri, Helen Peery of Fulton, Missouri, Genevieve Laurie of Holts Summit, Missouri and Hazel Sieler of Quinn, South Dakota. His parents and two brothers, Willard O'Neal and Preston O'Neal preceded him in death. Memorial services will be 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri, with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri.
